The Mogs' Christmas Part 1...Putting up the Tree
Been gifted a Christmas tree...which is of the fibre optic type.
The mogs are having a whale of a time.....playing with the box that the tree came in. Even Jimbob is joining in the festive fun. They're playing the 'run through the tunnel' game'. lol
Tree has been upright for a whole three hours!!!

Stakeout
Junior is not a vegetarian. From time to time she needs her meat. So, today she is having tarragon chicken, the smell of which is wafting in the kitchen.
All of a sudden, she has twelve REALLY bestest feline friends. You should see them...all luvey and cute....fluttering eyelashes. The 'Pick me' look:o)
They are on stakeout duty:O) In the kitchen, by the oven, a couple by the kitchen door. Olive is in charge:O) lol
They think this chicken is for them.....and no-one else is gonna get their paws on it!! lol

The Education of a certain Mr Ringo Schooler
Bit of internal fratching going on here.
Bad boy is Ringo!!!
Naughty Rings!!!
Sooooooo, he got shooved into the garden room today....to cool off.
Did I mention that it has been cool here of late? Needing to keep cental heating on, sort of thing.
Anyway, Rings is made of sterner stuff.....but...it seems, he has learned his lesson.

Bart the Brainy
Recently, I got out the ironing board and iron.
Dusted them down and got on with a spot of ironing. First time in AGES. 'Tis not my favourite activity and, anyway, I generally dry things on hangers, so the creases, if any, are minimal.
OK, ironed clothes store away better, in that you can cram more into your drawers and wardrobes if they are ironed, as opposed to just 'shoved in',
Well, the mogs have taken a liking to the ironing board. New bed:o)...Snoozing pad:o)...etc.
There is currently a pile of denim on the board, waiting to be made crease-free. Pile has been there for a 'while'.
Well, he got fed up of waiting. I caught Bart today....chewing the iron cable! Like, proper 'yah yah yah' chewing. Iron is now another electrical item in this house which I can add to the 'pooped' list.
Bart wants his bed back......Little sod!

Routine
I can't figure out how to put piccies up on this laptop. Is doing my head in!!!
Our little darlings are lovely:o)
We have a routine and every night, about 10.30ish we all go to bobo's:)
I usually wake them up with my fidgeting...due to rickety, aching, restless legs and the such.
And, at 6am each morning, Tinks goes all soft and jumps up and cuddles up to Junior:o)
Spook cuddles up to me. Ringo sleeps on top of the wardrobe, Jimmy boots out Cilla and sleeps in her bed!...musical beds:o)
Come 6.30am...the youngsters play chase:o)...all over the blummin place. If we are too knackered, then there is many a flying shoe in our house!!

Jimmy
Have to blog this, in case we forget.'
We have Mother's cat, Jimmy's living here with us as she's not allowed pets where she is now. Safe to say tht he's not used to living with eleven other cats, having lived the pampered life with Mother for the last 7 years:o) Prior to that, he lived a stray's life on the sheltered housing complex where they 'met'. He belonged to someone...but no-one definite. He was a feline tramp:o( So, when Mother came along he 'adopted' her....knowing that he was onto a good thing:o)..and she needed someone/thing to look after. It was a good match.
Anyway, now he is at Chez Min. She can see him any time and see for herself that he's ok. He sits on her knee when she visits and purrs away for a while....then buggers off! Payback for 'abandoning' him...she thinks. She pays for his upkeep and sends him tins of the finest salmon for his little tummy. Ah, he has her for a right sucker!!
Well, he can be a bit of a grumpy old fart....feline version of Victor Meldrew:o) He growls. Likes to go out to do the 'toilet'. Trouble is, when he goes out he fights any cat in sight. Territorial stuff. Our garden is 'his' and no-one else's...sort of stuff. So, he comes back with war wounds and lots of parasites!! Bloody yuk!!
I spend an absolute fortune on Frontline and Drontal...but still they only just keep fleas and worms at bay.
Anyway, because of the territorial stuff, Jimbob is staying in. I do not want more vet bills...plus, people around here aren't really cat friendly, as per Muppet, who has been hurt by someone and is now recovering upstairs.
So, Jimbob is being kept in. He hates it, of course...growls for Bloody England and any empire that there may be!! The others just parade around and tell him, in their own way, to belt up and be grateful:o)
So, four months of growling we have endured. I appreciate he likes to poop in private....but 'get over it'!! lol
Yesterday....we were out for ages. A Mother emergency. We left him in the kitchen. Door open but there is a dog gate..to stop Cilla from wandering and wrecking the place, but any cat can jump over the gate if they so wish. Not Fartarse, though!! Too posh to jump!!
We came back and fed our pride of puddy tats:o) They were sooo pleased to see us:o) And, guess what? For the first time I have EVER seen....Jimmy played:o) As in....scooting around (with LooLoo) and playing:o) Proper cat play. Happy and jolly. Yay
We are definitely doing something right, then:o).....?
Not everything, though.
He crapped in the kitchen sink! Little Barstard!!
