Piccies

The mogs are settling in well. They've laid off the partying at night now, now that they have a 'routine'! lol

Junior was petrified the other night, because a rather large moth came fluttering into the living room. Of course, about 8 pairs of eager eyes followed it's flight path, but still it stayed up on the ceiling. Junior, meanwhile, is going mental and thinks it's going to dive bomb her at any moment as it descends. Alas, it never got the chance!! RIP little moth....and BAD Tinkerbelle!!!!

Some piccies

Olive, Tinks and Ringo have spotted something.

Ringo on his favourite snooping spot. He can watch the world go by up there.

Popeye. "Can't a cat get ANY sleep around here?"

Together Again

We are all in our new home.

The mogs remembered us when we went to visit them at our friend's.  He was looking after them during our 'dark hours'.

Anyway, we'd turn up and they'd miaow away.  They recognised our voices.  We'd go into the huge pen that they were being kept in and got mobbed.  Then... they'd walk off with the....."You bastards....why have you left us here?"

Anyway, once we got them back to the new place  they've just loved if.  Whizzing about.  Downside is that we daren't let them out yet, but we will.

Until then, they cause us pleasure and pain.    But.   They DEFINITELY remember..so be nice to your mogs!!

Bloody Stalker

Looked out of our back bedroom window today to see someone peering into our house.  Is the demented woman who thinks Bart is hers.  She's bloody stalking us now!!

We went straight out and confronted her and, even though she told the PC Plodess that Bart is not hers last time, she is still stalking us and looking into the property.  I gave her a piece of my mind and told her to expect a solicitors  letter if she didn't stop.

Then, when we came back round, weird neighbour was out.  I asked him why he let these people onto our properly last time.  He denies this, but he would, would he?.  I said it was 'wonderful having neighbours like them' and he countered saying we bang on the walls.  He is completely off his rocket.  I then mentioned his offspring's weird antics and he got all 'how dare you insult my son....blah. blah".   Other neighbours agree they are a strange lot and confirm the 'goings on'...even from across the road can it be heard.    So,  weirdo said he would go fetch the stalker and let her on 'his' land to peer at her heart's delight.

Solicitor's letter coming their way!  I'm absolutely bloody incensed by their bad manners.

Sons 1 and 2 are coming up for support and backup.  I am being 'lent' a cat loving dog who doesn't take kindly to any invasion of privacy by strangers.    The boys have lived here and know the score about nextdoors.  They don't think I'm nuts...only for putting up with it for so long.    Arghhh!!!

Junior's Not Best Pleased

More visits to the vet next week.  Snip time for the last lot who are now old enough for the op.

The maniac who accused us of nicking our own Bart has put 'missing cat' posters up all around our estate (which is not hers)...one being at the end of our little road..quite close our house.   She's made no mention of the fact that she knows our cat is ours and has differing markings to hers, so it feels like we're being accused.....  So, some neighbours, when they see Bart, will think he's being held hostage by us.

Junior is irate and has come out with some choice language about this!!!!!! and so the offending 'item' has been removed.  Not on our road!!!..especially after not receiving an apology.   It's illegal to 'advertise' in this manner, anyway.

So, poor Bart is housebound for the moment.  Not fair when all he wants to do is sit on a fence or two and watch the world go by, the wind around him, without fear of being catnapped.

The older mogs are now wearing 'jewel encrusted' collars:o)  With little tinkly bells of varying neon colours.   They look very smart ....and cute:o)  Have to say, it's driving a few of them barmy.  Were you a fly on the wall in this house, then you'd see Bart, Henry, Ringo and Tinks whizzing around...trying to 'catch' the bell!!!  Is funny but they'll have to wear these until they're identichipped.  So, our house permanently sounds as if Santa is about to land!!

Another Great Escape - Not So Dignified, Though!!

Have been really ill with this flu lurgy.   The too weak to speak let alone lift my head, relatives have to drive 100 miles here to get the shopping in so Junior can eat,  type of flu.

Anyway, today I am able to speak and stand up without keeling over.  Junior has sensibly been keeping a distance, bless her, and doing her best around the house.  She comes into my bedroom this morning and announces, half hysterically,  that Bart is stuck up on a roof!!   I cannot type what I said!!!   I have visions of a Fire Brigade rescue and big fat bill that is ill-afforded, So,  Junior spends an hour calling him down, neighbours stick their heads out of windows to see what the calamity is.....and Bart gets louder and LOUDER!!   J tells him that if he got up there and he can jolly well get back down......right now!!!   The other mogs were around 'trying to rescue him' as Junior puts it.  Moral support, come down we love you type of thing.  Maybe they were telling him what a dope he is?  lol

I rings the cat expert lady and asks if she has any top tips for getting a cat down.   She asks who it is on this roof.  Bart, I reply.  'Hmm, might know' is the knowing silent response.  I am advised that he'll come down when he's hungry.  Meanwhile, Bart oiks up the decibels, so much so that the neighbours decide to do a daring rescue to save their eardrums and get the ladders out.  I meanwhile dons a coat over pjamas and waddles round to apologise and thank them.  Bloke says it's ok but I think he was taken aback at my Beetlejuice appearance!!  aka death warmed up.

After his rescue he miaowed off up their garden and back into ours and is now happily cuddled up with Tinks and Chunky, no doubt telling them the tale:o)

And I am going back to bed.

Great Escapes

LooLoo escaped out of the house on Christmas morning...5am....courtesy of Olive opening all the doors, again!!

Was hobbling around the back garden, in pjs and nearly knackered torch trying to lure her back in.  In the end had to resort to the 'grab the tail' capture.

This morning it was Tinkerbelle's turn.  She slipped out when Junior had her back turned and was soon up a 30 foot pine tree.  Realising that it was REALLY high up there, she starts miaowing and crying and Junior was hellbent on calling out the Fire Brigade to rescue her.  Told her this was not going to happen and suggested a bit of temptation, so J grabbed a tin of cat food and a fork and rattled away.

45 mins later cat was back in the house, safe and sound.  Smells lovely though...of pine.  Tinks is a nutcase:o)  lol
