Popeye isn't too well. A bit under the weather. Plenty of tlc for him:o)
Where ever there is a box, there's a cat!! Popeye, in this case:o) No doubt seeking a bit of peace and quiet.

LooLoo

Trevor

Nearly came home with mog no 13 the other day.

We parked up in a supermarket car park and this little black cat sidled up to me, miaowing away..obviously hungry.

Arghhhh!!

So, softy here picks him up and puts him in car.

He is a friendly little thing...and has huge balls for one so little!!    I have an inkling that he isn't lost, just hankering after some grub and attention.

What to do?  Anyway, before I take him home and put a 'Found' ad in the local post office,  I spot a house and wonder if this is his home?  Yes it is.

A few minutes later, cat returned to owner.  I reckon he (Trevor - who is, apparently, a bit naughty) was a tad pissed off.  Apparently, he has been snipped, so God knows how big they were pre-op?  lol

Jimmy still has the moves!!

Mother's cat, Jimmy, is settling in.

He is used to lording it. Being the centre of attention, etc  Pre-mother it seems he had a crap life, so he deserves a bit of attention.

Well. This week we have let the mogs explore the rest of the house. Never seen Jimbob move so fast, chasing Honeypot....up the stairs. Ahhhh....the old lad still has it in him:o)

Mother, meanwhile, seems to spend half her time blubbing about how guilty she feels letting him go. Guiltfest! Meanwhile, the old lad is having a whale of a time. No telling Mother, though. She will not listen.     Jimbob SURELY must be missing her? Ha!!! In your dreams!!

More gratuitous piccies of nice moggies.

Honey...who likes to watch the iMac...she follows the mouse:o)

Tinks.....what you looking at?!!!  She always looks so cross but really is the opposite....and blummin' hyper!!

Megan...chilling out...at last!!  Note the cuddly teddy bear.  The sofa (not my style at all) came with the house.  Won't fit through the door, unless it's chopped up...so it stayed put!

Olive, being all regal:o) Henry VIII lording it in the background!   The chair is one that Mother donated so I can sit down AND get up again.....'cos of me arthriticky joints.

Don't think Honeypot approves of being photod while eating! Waaah!!

Supplies Day

The mogs and pooch are happy tonight:o)

Today was 'buy pet supplies' day, so we have lots of pet food, treats and pine scented cat litter for the week.

Anyway, Junior and I decide to visit a supermarket on the way back (Morrisons).  We like it there.  You can buy stuff in reasonable quantities...like a wedge of watermelon instead of a whole one, sort of thing.  All at reasonable prices.  I'm all for being reasonable.

So we are toddling around, looking for ingredients for vegan dinners that I'm set on trying out.  A sales assistant dances around in the alley and announces that 'everything in the baskets can be bought for 9p per item!)  Yikes!!  So, we have ended up with a trolley load of very nice fruit and veg:o)  Apart from coconut milk and soy sauce, we are sorted.   Then, in the chiller dept was yet another sale.

Result:- lots of nicies for the pets...basically chicken and ham, of which some they've had for a treat tonight.

Our tea tonight cost 71p!  (stir fry and veggie bolognaise with left over stew from yesterday and a veggie tomato and mozzarella bread.)  Finished off with a chocolate trifle (19p for 3). We are ALL pogged.

Lovefest

Today we took delivery of an ionic flea comb, courtesy of our local Betterware lady:o)

I had been warned that these are crap (after I ordered the thing!)

Anyway, it arrives.  We pop in two little AAA batteries and off we goes:o)

I thought that the high pitched noise might spook the cats and that they'd turn tail in the opposite direction once they spotted the device....but no... they LOVE it.  They were lining up to be combed..... nudging, purring....a proper little lovefest we had:o)

Didn't find any fleas, which either they don't have any (should think so, with all the Frontline I buy) or the comb is indeed crap!!  lol  Still,  daily grooming with the thing is now on our 'to do' list and we shall see how we get on:o)

I would put piccies up of the mogs rolling around in happiness/gay abandonment but camera says memory card is full and I haven't the foggiest how to delete some of the piccies so I have room for more.  Shall have to toddle off to see local camera shop guy for help.

Loo and Bart

Bart hogging Jimmy's chair. Still not unpacked boxes and bags in the background. Oooops!

LooLoo with her 'sour' look!!

We have plans to build a cat run at the back of the house. This will mean that the mogs can go 'outside' and I won't have to worry about them getting hurt, flattened, chased by dogs or poisoned by cat haters!! lol

First need to drag big bro down for the 'digging out' bit. I'm working on him:o))

Piccies

The mogs are settling in well. They've laid off the partying at night now, now that they have a 'routine'! lol

Junior was petrified the other night, because a rather large moth came fluttering into the living room. Of course, about 8 pairs of eager eyes followed it's flight path, but still it stayed up on the ceiling. Junior, meanwhile, is going mental and thinks it's going to dive bomb her at any moment as it descends. Alas, it never got the chance!! RIP little moth....and BAD Tinkerbelle!!!!

Some piccies

Olive, Tinks and Ringo have spotted something.

Ringo on his favourite snooping spot. He can watch the world go by up there.

Popeye. "Can't a cat get ANY sleep around here?"

Bart up close

Megan sparko....with a younger Ringo and Loo in the land of nod below
