Great Escapes

LooLoo escaped out of the house on Christmas morning...5am....courtesy of Olive opening all the doors, again!!

Was hobbling around the back garden, in pjs and nearly knackered torch trying to lure her back in.  In the end had to resort to the 'grab the tail' capture.

This morning it was Tinkerbelle's turn.  She slipped out when Junior had her back turned and was soon up a 30 foot pine tree.  Realising that it was REALLY high up there, she starts miaowing and crying and Junior was hellbent on calling out the Fire Brigade to rescue her.  Told her this was not going to happen and suggested a bit of temptation, so J grabbed a tin of cat food and a fork and rattled away.

45 mins later cat was back in the house, safe and sound.  Smells lovely though...of pine.  Tinks is a nutcase:o)  lol

Sounds like you've had your hands full, even more than usual! Hope LooLoo is much better now and the boys have come back. We have an elderly lady called Feral staying over the holidays. She normally resides with my friend, who's gone to France to see her family for Christmas. Feral is a lot more lovely than her name suggests. A long haired tabby with the most gorgeous eyes. Must take a picture, soon. We've all been down with the flu, so our cats have been really busy keeping us company and our beds warm!

Oh, poor you!

We've managed to evade the lurgy up until now. Not been out anywhere really to get infected. Just hobbled up to local shop and back. lol

Our feral cats are lovely, too. Even the shy one has started to come in and sleep in the house, so it must be cold outside. She'd getting on a bit, though. Eleven years old, I believe.

Olive is now on heat and in slapper mode! Yowing and yowing. No more kittens, though. Am doing my best to keep her inside until visit to mr vet...but she seems to have accomplices who are hell bent on helping her outside for some 'free lurve'. lol

I need earplugs....and sleep!!
